Social Media Catalog Generation
My primary work at Microsoft consisted of collaborating with the Art Director and a small team of designers to create a variety of templates in different styles (modern, retro) and topics (holiday, sale, event) in order to build a robust online catalog for users to work from using the Designer app. Each design is fully editable manually by the user or with AI recommendations.
Multi-platform
The design process included creating multiple sizes at a time to ensure social media posts would be available and consistent across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc).
Designing for User Prompts
The Create catalog provides the foundation of what the AI generation pulls from. Our team focused on a wide range of occasions, holidays, events, and more.
Create App Functionality
The template making process shifted further as Create evolved, creating a need to design templates with the idea that users would be changing as many aspects as possible (photos, type, and color).
